We were delighted to open up our office again as a temporary gallery for the Wilmslow Art Trail. The Art Trail, which was organised by Wilmslow Business Group, covered 19 venues and took place between 14th and 16th October. It provided an opportunity for local professional artists to exhibit in a range of venues, including bars, restaurants, shops, churches and offices. There were 34 artists in total, exhibiting everything from fine art to willow sculptures, ceramics, jewellery and furniture. We hosted Stephanie Estall-Knight, a contemporary mixed media artist, and Judith Roberts, who designs and creates ceramic statement pieces.
Many artists sold pieces of their work and the venues saw an increase in the number of visitors, some of whom had never entered their premises before. It was a great weekend, well-supported by local residents, and we look forward to next year’s Art Trail.
